About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced KS2 teacher to join our team of supply teachers in Stockport. As a KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Year 3 to Year 6.

The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and good behaviour management skills to manage a full class of 30 children. You will be expected to plan engaging lessons, deliver high-quality sessions, assess pupils against the National Curriculum, and deploy support staff effectively in the classroom.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers to start a new challenge and refresh their skills. For Early Career Teachers (ECTs), it is a fantastic role to get their career kickstarted in teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students in Year 3 to Year 6
  • Assess pupils against the National Curriculum
  • Deploy support staff effectively in the classroom
  • Liaise with appropriate members of staff and the wider community of the school
Person Specification
  • Hold a teaching qualification (BA/PGCE)
  • Must hold UK QTS
  • Experience in schools in the UK
  • Be confident in working with potentially challenging behaviour
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
