Plant and Equipment Maintenance Specialist

The Broads Authority is seeking a skilled Plant and Equipment Supervisor to oversee the repair and maintenance of essential plant, vessels, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a dedicated team and dealing with contractors to ensure operational readiness across all assets.
- Ensuring timely completion of annual refit programmes, diagnosing and repairing equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and managing certification compliance.
- Contributing to project planning and ensuring accurate record-keeping of all activities.
Requirements:
- A strong background in either vessel or plant maintenance, with practical skills in hydraulic systems, metal fabrication, and electrical systems.
- Proactive leadership skills, with experience supervising teams and scheduling complex workflows, ideally with HNC/HND qualifications (or equivalent in mechanical engineering).
- A valid driving licence and strong communication skills.
About the Role:
This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a strong background in either vessel or plant maintenance and be able to demonstrate proactive leadership skills.
