Accounts Senior Job Opportunity

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Senior to join their team in the Brierley Hill area. As a key member of the accounts team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the workload, ensuring deadlines are met, and preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage the workload for the accounts team
  • Ensure monthly workload targets are met and deadlines are adhered to
  • Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Assist management in finalizing accounts
  • Train and assist junior team members
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience working in an accountancy practice environment
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
  • Previous experience using IRIS (preferable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
  • Confident dealing with clients and working well within a team
Benefits:
  • £35,000-£40,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
  • 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
  • 37 hours per week
  • Modern office space with free parking
  • Training and support provided for the right candidate
