Investment Data Specialist Role

About the Vacancy

Hymans Robertson's Investment DB Business Unit is seeking an experienced Investment Data Specialist to join our growing team. As a key member of our Investment Data & Reporting team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and defining our index and market data service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Unit with the day-to-day management of index and market data, leading on certain elements as required.
  • Build strong relationships with third-party data providers and act as our key point of contact.
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvements in the way we work with index and market data, ensuring compliance and managing risk.
  • Contribute to broader data and reporting initiatives, taking a lead on projects as required.
  • Encourage effective communication and cross-team collaboration within the Business Unit and the wider firm.

Requirements

  • Experience working with index and/or market data in a similar role.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with others.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational, and task prioritisation skills.
  • Self-motivation and resilience, with the ability to use initiative to complete tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 software, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
