">Job Description">

We are seeking a highly skilled Practice Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing long-term conditions, implementing protocols, and applying clinical guidelines.

The successful candidate will work approximately 25-30 hours over 5 days, with flexibility to work PM sessions across main and branch sites. Ample overtime opportunities are available to cover colleagues' holidays.

We welcome applications from Practice Nurses with non-medical prescribing certificates and minor ailments certificates. Candidates with NMC registration and a visa to work in the UK are also eligible to apply.

">Key Responsibilities">

  • Manage chronic disease cases, including asthma/COPD/Peak Flow Readings/Spirometry, hypertension management, and knowledge of national/local guidelines.
  • Support patients with lifestyle changes and provide routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs.
  • Perform cytology, removal of sutures, new patient medicals, travel clinic, ECGs, venepuncture, routine immunisations, and other tasks as required.
  • Maintain accurate records, advise senior colleagues on potential problems, and participate in administrative systems within the practice.
