Hours: Monday to Friday - Double Days

Location: Halifax

ATA Recruitment is proud to be representing this leading manufacturer in their search for an electrical maintenance engineer to work at their facility based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. The business offers excellent training and development, specifically around external training to upskill on existing engineering skillsets, as they want their engineers to perform to their best ability and grow within the team, with huge progression opportunities including team leader & project engineering.

As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance working on a Monday to Friday Double days rota alongside 3 other engineers including an apprentice, with some independent working alone between the hours of 5-10pm:

  • Carry out maintenance on a range of machinery including mixers, baggers, coolers, conveyors, and much more.
  • Fault find on Siemens PLC.

To be a successful multi-skilled maintenance engineer, our client requires:

  • An NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally heavy industry.
