About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Manager to join our industry-leading Term Maintenance division at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of all aspects of the work, including labour management, financials, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our clients from the pre-planning and pre-programming of works through to completion.
  • Write health and safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments, ensuring that all sites have the appropriate documentation.
  • Ensure the smooth running of sites through regular liaison with key stakeholders, supervisors, and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure that the works programme is effectively resourced with labour, plant, and materials.
  • Monitor works and performance against the contract to enable the accurate submission of monthly invoices and final account settlement.
  • Build effective and professional working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Manage a team of supervisors and support staff, ensuring the continuous development of skills by undertaking training needs analysis.
  • Undertake site visits, audit visits, and client meetings.
  • Ensure Financial targets are met and implement changes.
Requirements
  • Need for a proactive Contract Manager with experience in delivering public sector contracts in the hard services engineering field.
  • Solid experience in MS 365 and facilities management workflow management systems.
  • Experience of working on Term Maintenance contracts or for public bodies would be beneficial.
  • Hold a NVQ level 4 / HND or above in a construction or engineering-related field.
  • Hold a CSCS card, a full UK driving license, and a safety management qualification such as IOSH or SMSTS.
