Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assembly and Workshop Technician to join our team at the South Marston Industrial Estate in Swindon.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with electronic components, taking equipment apart, and checking parts for damage. Experience in using hand tools to assemble items and working in a fast-paced environment is essential.
The role involves stripping down drinking units, washing and cleaning components, checking for faults, wear or damage, and reassembling them to a high standard. The candidate will work in a team of two, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work at a fast pace, and adhere to strict time deadlines. They will also have experience in using a variety of grease for different jobs, changing bearings and other small parts, and using tools such as spanners, sockets, screwdrivers, punches, pulleys, cutters, and crimping tools.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.50, paid weekly, as well as 28 days' holiday (including Bank Holidays) and a pension scheme after 3 months. There is also the opportunity for a permanent appointment.
