Chief Financial Officer - Growth Role

We are working with a Cornwall-based, private equity-backed services and technology organisation with an international reach to source a Chief Financial Officer who can drive growth and strategy.

The organisation is on a strong growth trajectory and needs a CFO who can ensure the finance team and infrastructure are fit for purpose, while also working with the CEO to set and drive the strategic direction of the business.

The role will be broad, covering finance, IT, HR, and customer service elements, with 70% of the time focused on financial matters and 30% on operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to shape and drive strategy, ensuring the business grows in a consistent and controlled way.

Experience of leading exit transactions is desirable, particularly in standalone companies with EBITDA over £1m annually.

We are open to considering candidates who have been No 2 to a CFO in a standalone or investor-backed business, as well as those who have been a No 1 CFO in a standalone or PE-backed business.

The organisation will provide an expenses budget to cover travel and accommodation if needed, and we are also open to considering relocators who may be looking to leave the city for a more relaxed pace of life in the South West.
