As a leading omni-channel retailer, JD Group is seeking an experienced General Manager to drive innovation and growth in our logistics operations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in complex fast-paced retail or FMCG logistics environments.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, to lead our 4-5 thousand strong logistics team during peak periods.

• Develop and implement strategic logistics plans that drive improvement and efficiency across our network.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
• Liaise with HR to ensure effective employee relations and talent development.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, driving operational excellence through continuous process improvement.
• Comply with all company health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a complex fast-paced retail or FMCG logistics environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and drive business decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and gain support from stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, managing multiple priorities and meeting critical deadlines.
