Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description:

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a prestigious rail project in the North East of England.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, with a strong focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver the project on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, timelines and budgets in collaboration with the client and stakeholders.
  3. Monitor and control project expenditure, ensuring that costs are managed effectively and efficiently.
  4. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring that the project remains on track.
  5. Collaborate with the design team to ensure that the project meets the required specifications and standards.
  6. Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met, including health and safety, environmental and planning regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Chartered status or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. civil engineering, construction management).
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the rail sector.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career development.
