Job Description

The Delegated Underwriting Authority Analyst plays a critical role in our Risk Management team, responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our delegated underwriting portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer coverholder and binding authority due diligence reviews, including pre-bind quality assurance checks and completion of due diligence review forms.
  • Collate due diligence related documentation from coverholders and market systems as required.
  • Monitor upcoming renewal cycles for delegated facilities and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues arising from the due diligence process.
  • Maintain accurate records of coverholders and binding authorities in our management tool.
  • Assist with production of regular and ad-hoc reports for the business.
  • Support the DUA Audit Manager in managing the Arch Coverholder Audit Schedule.
Requirements & Skills

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel.
  • An understanding of insurance principles and knowledge of delegated arrangements (binding authorities, consortia).
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications & Experience

You should have:

  • A Level or equivalent education minimum.
  • Ideal working towards CII qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong analysis and data processing skills.
  • Previous experience in insurance or financial services desirable.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
