About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Darlington. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records.
  • Support service users with daily living tasks, such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Engage in activities with service users, such as watching movies, listening to music, and participating in sensory play.
  • Assist with community outings, shopping trips, and park visits.
  • Provide support in educational settings, delivering essential clinical care while promoting development and learning.

Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience.
  • Personal Care.
  • Moving and Handling.
  • Medication Administration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (required for day shifts).
