Join our team as a Trainee Project Manager and embark on a two-year journey to develop your skills in delivering projects with clear objectives and managing stakeholder expectations.

As a Trainee Project Manager, you will work alongside a multi-skilled team to deliver projects to time, cost, and quality requirements. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely completion of project tasks and deliverables.

Your responsibilities will include communicating with stakeholders to understand project needs and goals, demonstrating SSE core values, and developing a clear understanding of safety management systems and best practices.

Upon completion of the Trainee Project Management programme, you will be well-equipped to progress to an Assistant Project Manager role and eventually become a Project Manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading Large Capital Projects, delivering substation, overhead line, and cable projects ranging in value from £10m to £2bn. You will gain real hands-on experience on our key sites, build an invaluable network, and develop a unique set of skills that will shape your career.

Key responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, execute, and monitor projects
