Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. You will be responsible for managing cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation, ensuring project financial efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure project financial efficiency.
- Manage and maintain detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project targets are met.
- Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets to ensure financial compliance.
- Identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met and financial goals are achieved.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
- Full UK driving license.
