Electrical Maintenance Specialist

**Job Purpose**
The Maintenance Engineer - Electrical plays a vital role in the smooth operation of Turnberry Resort, Scotland. Reporting to the Assistant Managers, this position is responsible for delivering 1st fix electrical maintenance as requested through the Helpdesk and In House Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules. Additionally, the incumbent will undertake designated Health & Safety duties across the full resort.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to requests from the Management team and other operating departments to assess and repair faults with all aspects of the buildings, including HVAC, lighting & small power issues, plumbing problems.
- Installation of additional electrical circuits.
- Maintenance of Standby Generator and Life safety systems.
- Undertake and record regular Planned Preventative Maintenance/ Ken Fix It Programme.
- Health & Safety schedules to include monthly emergency lighting testing, tap/shower head descaling, emergency/lighting checks.
- Temperature checks of water systems as specified in the site Water Risk Assessments.
- Fire alarm testing, fire equipment checks, meter readings, running generator, etc.
- Carries out Health & Safety testing to include the Control of Legionella, Portable Appliance Testing, Emergency Lighting testing, etc.
**Requirements**
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in electrical maintenance, with a strong focus on Health & Safety. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
