This warm and welcoming family, based in Clifton, Bristol, are seeking a part-time Domestic Support Assistant to join their household. As a Nanny and Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the home while providing top-notch care for their two young boys.

The 4-year-old attends full-time school, while the 18-month-old attends nursery two days a week. Your responsibilities will be split between housekeeping and childcare, with most tasks related to the children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the children in getting dressed and ready for the day
  • Prepare breakfast and help with morning routines
  • Aid with school runs and provide after-school care
  • Tidy up after meals and maintain a clean home environment
  • Help with laundry, ironing, and changing bedding
  • Support the family's love of outdoor activities, such as walking, beach trips, and park visits

You will require flexibility, as the family's schedule may vary depending on school holidays. During these periods, working hours may be reduced. The primary focus during holiday periods will be on childcare.

Job Details:

Location: Clifton, Bristol

Experience Level: At least 2 years of experience in childcare and housekeeping

Required Training: Paediatric first aid certification

Qualifications: Not essential but desirable

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (3 days), 7:30am-6:00pm

Pets in the Home: Yes

Driving Requirement: Essential with own car

Estimated Salary: Up to £16 gross per hour

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate, a 12-hour paediatric first aid certificate, and at least two professional referees who can be contacted immediately.
