Impact Acceleration Officer

Queen\u0027s University Belfast is seeking a highly skilled Impact Acceleration Officer to coordinate and support the delivery of all Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) related activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing our fully-engaged and impact-focused research culture for academics involved in research across the University that is relevant to the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and the Medical Research Council (MRC).
About the role:
The Impact Acceleration Officer will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and supporting the delivery of all IAA-related activities
- Enhancing our fully-engaged and impact-focused research culture
- Working with academics to develop and implement impact-focused research projects
- Monitoring outputs from projects against set performance indicators and tracking and reporting on budgets
- Dealing with external funders, including all monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements
- Providing excellent IT skills, including experience of managing websites and Social Media content
About the person:
The successful candidate will have:
- A honours degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
- Substantial recent relevant experience in a role that involved project coordination
- A relevant and proven track record of coordinating a business support or other funding programme
- Experience of monitoring outputs from projects against set performance indicators and tracking and reporting on budgets
- Experience of dealing with external funders, including all monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements
- Excellent IT skills, including experience of managing websites and Social Media content
