About the Role:
We are seeking an Ecommerce Operations Assistant to join our team at The Scouts Association. As an Ecommerce Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Ecommerce Specialist in delivering the Scout Store ecommerce strategy and optimizing the customer journey across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the homepage, landing pages, blog posts, and other site information pages across two functional websites to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Conduct regular site audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the user experience.
- Manage product listings, ensuring accuracy in product descriptions, imagery, categorization, and filters to maximize conversion rates.
- Support the Ecommerce Specialist in managing the product image process, including sample management.
- Collaborate with the SEO Specialist to fix broken links and investigate site issues.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for continuous site improvements.
Requirements:
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest and understanding of ecommerce platforms, trends, and strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with ecommerce software/systems.
- Enthusiastic individuals who are willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
