Job Summary

BGC Group is looking for a highly skilled Financial Modeling Developer to join its team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and experience with financial markets and quantitative finance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models and algorithms
  • Collaborating with traders and other stakeholders to ensure models remain accurate and effective
  • Maintaining a high level of technical expertise in mathematical modeling, numerical methods, and algorithm development
  • Providing support and assistance in troubleshooting issues
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in quantitative finance and technology

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in programming, preferably with modern C++
  • Experience with financial markets and quantitative finance, particularly in FX derivatives and fixed income products
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to present authoritatively
  • Naturally inquisitive, with a strong desire to keep learning and stay current with industry developments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
