Job Title: Principal Historic Environment Consultant

At Lanpro, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Principal Historic Environment Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Historic Environment Team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on major development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultancy advice on heritage matters
  • Develop and manage the production of desk-based assessments and heritage statements
  • Work closely with other team members across disciplines
  • Advise on relevant local and national planning policy and legislation

Requirements:

  • Experience of working as part of an EIA team, preferably on large-scale residential, commercial, and renewable energy schemes
  • Authoring Cultural Heritage Environmental Statements
  • Providing proofs of evidence and written representations for planning appeals
  • Excellent understanding of relevant local and national planning policy and legislation
