About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team in the Leatherhead office. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing audits, as well as preparing accounts and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead on-site audit teams and complete jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget.
  2. Plan, execute, and complete audits, reporting to managers and partners.
  3. Prepare accounts, reports, and other assignments as required.
  4. Coordinate planning at clients, including liaising with relevant departments within the firm.
  5. Communicate and build relationships with clients and related third parties.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. AAT qualified and/or studying towards ACA/ACCA qualification with the professional/applied skills stage completed.
  2. Minimum 18 months experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice.
  3. Experience of leading external audit assignments from fieldwork to completion stages under International Standards on Auditing.
  4. Experience of preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP.
  5. Confident user of Microsoft Office suite – Intermediate/Advanced user of Word and Excel.
  6. Strong communication skills with senior staff and clients.
  7. Motivated to take responsibility of the role and maintain a high level of quality service across all competencies.
