Nottingham School Governor

Governors are essential members of the Academy Council, working together with the Headteacher, staff, parents, and community representatives to improve educational outcomes for students.
As a Governor, you would be responsible for:
- Reviewing and evaluating the school's self-evaluation report
- Providing guidance and support to the school's improvement plan
- Maintaining open communication with the school community
Meetings are scheduled regularly throughout the academic year, providing opportunities for Governors to discuss and address key issues affecting the school.
An estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, commensurate with your level of experience and qualifications. This is a competitive salary for the education sector in the UK.
