Job Overview

Our ideal candidate will have experience managing logistics processes across warehouse management and transport planning, including performance metrics. You will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse functions to deliver business targets and ensuring that systems are updated in real-time to reduce invoice queries and associated issues.

We are seeking someone with a strong analytical skillset, combined with an innovation mindset, who can manage competing daily priorities and lead a culture of Continuous Improvement.

The successful candidate will also have demonstrable knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and experience managing a 3PL contract. Additionally, they will be able to communicate effectively across all levels, build good working relationships across departments, and develop effective internal and external process flows for logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the warehousing and transport strategy across the Safran Seats GB business
  • Oversee all warehouse functions to deliver business targets and ensure that systems are updated in real-time
  • Analyse load and capacity forecast for the Logistics department and ensure sufficient resources are provided
  • Develop the Logistics budget, monitor and report regularly on forecasted spend, deviations and mitigations
  • Account management for preferred freight providers
  • Develop effective internal and external relationships and communication strategies
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of logistics processes across warehouse management and transport planning
  • Demonstrable knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Experience managing a 3PL contract
  • Ability to lead and develop a team through coaching and authentic leadership
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial concepts combined with an innovation mindset
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
