We are seeking a skilled interpreter to work with us at Language Empire. The role involves providing interpreting services for individuals using legal, health, and local government services. As an interpreter, you will play a crucial part in ensuring effective communication between service users and providers.

About the Job:

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to interpret spoken language from one language to another with 100% accuracy. You will be working with clients who require assistance in understanding various languages, including but not limited to English, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, and many more.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services
• Checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaising between the service user and service provider

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent language skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English and another language is required. Additionally, you should have formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or any other interpreting-related qualification.
