We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacology Medical Director to lead our team at Novartis Biomedical Research (BR). As a critical member of the Translational Medicine (TM) Clinical Pharmacology team, you will drive the development of innovative therapies for patients by providing expert medical and scientific leadership and expertise to support both early and late-stage global programs across all BR therapeutic areas.

About the Team

">

The TM Clinical Pharmacology team is a cross-functional team specialized in the design, clinical execution, and reporting of FiH and Clinical Pharmacology studies across all TM therapeutic areas. Our team works closely with qualified CROs to ensure efficient and result-based decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Manage multiple, simultaneously conducted FiH and Clinical Pharmacology studies">
  • Contribute to the development of Study Concept Sheets and Protocols">
  • Review Informed Consent Forms, Statistical Analysis Plans, Tables, Listings and Figure (TLF) shells and drafts, and results summaries">
  • Provide medical and clinical pharmacology coverage for Site Initiation Visits, during the clinical conduct of the trial, for safety reviews and safety reporting, and for medical coding">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a medical degree combined with a PhD/post-doctoral degree, specialized training (board certification), or clinical research experience in Clinical Pharmacology. You should also have previous relevant and significant clinical study experience across the broad spectrum of Clinical Pharmacology and FiH studies.
