About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to join our team at the Royal Automobile Club. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in our fine dining restaurant and Cocktail Bar, Stirling's.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.
  • Section Management: Ensure the effective running of your section and floor in the absence of the Manager/Assistant Manager.
  • Support to Management: Support the Manager with daily operations, including staffing, table plans, lay-up, menu, and standards.
  • Menu Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with all food and beverage menus, current promotions, and new products to enable you to serve and recommend to our members and guests.
  • Order Management: Ensure that all orders are correctly billed.
  • Team Collaboration: Internal collaboration with other teams to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
  • Licensing Compliance: Comply and enforce the law in respect of the Licensing Act as applies to the Royal Automobile Club.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment.
  • Customer Service: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
  • Leadership: Responsible for supervising the section waiters and commis waiters.
  • Cocktail Knowledge: Knowledge of cocktails would be beneficial.
  • Organisation: Organised and capable of handling complex logistics.
  • Food Hygiene: Basic food hygiene - level 1 & 2.
  • Licensing Awareness: Awareness of Licensing laws.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Team player.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail.
