Job Title: Chef - Bank

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. As a Bank Chef, you will play a vital role in creating nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, while also contributing to the success of our hospitality team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified chef to work in a bank role at Barchester Healthcare. You will assist the Head Chef in creating menus that cater to the residents' preferences, using fresh and seasonal produce to deliver high-quality dishes. Your role will involve managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, working within budget, and completing regular audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating menus that cater to the residents' preferences
  • Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
  • Work with fresh and seasonal produce to deliver high-quality dishes
  • Work within budget and complete regular audits
  • Assist in leading and motivating a team
Requirements:
  • Hold a City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in helping lead and inspire a team
  • Good understanding of nutrition and working with fresh seasonal food
  • Good understanding of HACCP
