Material Supply Chain Specialist

As a Material Supply Chain Specialist at Schneider Electric, you will play a critical role in ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to meet business needs. Your responsibilities will include managing internal and external suppliers, updating SAP planning parameters, and ensuring logistics parameters align with suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Update SAP planning parameters to reflect business needs
- Ensure logistics parameters align with suppliers
- Manage supply risk by setting strategic stock levels and escalating to procurement or supply chain planning as needed
- Balance continuous needs and resources for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products
- Manage supply priorities and crises based on project priorities and customer needs
- Manage replenishment backlogs and reschedule manufacturing and purchase orders
- Measure supplier service levels and drive action plans
- Define and manage supply parameters
- Manage raw material and component stock levels to meet project schedules
- Monitor and reduce gross inventory levels to avoid scrapping
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain or planning roles
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Math or Science)
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and IT skills
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
