Job Title: Commercial Procurement Planner

The Commercial Procurement Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. This position requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust demand forecasts using statistical tools and market information.
  • Liaise with production planning teams to provide innovative solutions to supply chain issues and capacity constraints.
  • Organize inbound containers for the UK Distribution Centre operation to meet customer forecasts, ensuring stock levels, product availability, and operational costs are optimized.
  • Conduct analysis and challenge sales forecasts using historical data and point-of-sale information to improve forecasting accuracy in conjunction with the Marketing and Finance teams.
  • Manage inventory targets, including safety stock levels, approved by management.
  • Drive the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) cycle and reporting.
  • Take responsibility for Key Performance Indicators.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a FMCG environment.
  • Previous scheduling/forecast/planning and procurement experience.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP/MRP systems.
  • Experience of dealing with supply chain & operational issues while implementing processes effectively.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Accurate IT and data entry skills.
