Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure testing of samples is carried out within agreed timescales and with strict adherence to written methods and procedures.
  • Participate in verification checks as required and assure all information recorded and acted upon.
  • Liaise with personnel at all levels as required to provide advice, report deviations, unsafe conditions, etc.
  • Record all tests undertaken.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience within a Chemistry laboratory.
  • Familiarity with UKAS principles for Laboratory Accreditation to ISO17025.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate.
