We are seeking an exceptional Accident and Emergency Consultant to join our team at Triple West Medical, a renowned healthcare provider in South East England. This is a 12-month fixed-term position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art emergency department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our level 1 emergency department, which is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a team of experienced professionals. The post holder will also participate in special duties such as clinical governance, appraisal, audit, research, and educational supervision of doctors in training.

Department Overview

Our emergency department is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that provides care 24 hours a day. The department includes:

  • A co-located radiology room with a 24-hour multi-slice CT scanner
  • A PAS-Oasis management system and E-searcher clinical information system with 24-hour reception cover
  • 19 cubicles, including 3 minors, 1 ENP room, and 15 major's spaces, as well as a resuscitation area with 4 adult trolleys and 2 paediatric bays
  • Excellent support from the rehabilitation team, comprising physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Full Registration with the GMC and name on the specialist register or CCT within 6 months of interview
  • Special interests accommodated
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
