Main Duties of the JobAs an HR Officer, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of operational support, advice, and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, including sickness absence and local terms and conditions. You will also be involved in the delivery of training and consultation with Trade Unions.

Person Specification- Certification in Human Resource Practice - CIPD Foundation qualification in HR (Level 3) or equivalent qualification or equivalent level of knowledge/experience
- GCSE at Grade 5 / C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Previous experience of working within Human Resources or equivalent knowledge
- Experience applying HR policy and practice to practical situations, or equivalent knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of employment practices, HR Policies and Procedures
- Computer skills including experience in the use of databases, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel evidenced by the ability to produce reports and tables and present statistical information in a clear format
- Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law
