As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Link Consultants, you will play a crucial role in securing the successful delivery of our projects. Your responsibilities will include managing costs, maintaining project valuations, and liaising with clients to ensure the commercial performance of our framework contracts and one-off projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage costs and maintain project valuations to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide commercial solutions
  • Collaborate with other functions, including finance, project management, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Review and approve sub-contractor and material invoices/orders to ensure timely payment
  • Report on the works portfolio on a P&L basis to the finance team to prepare financial forecasts for ongoing large-scale projects
  • Protect the interests of the company by issuing and presenting risk analysis reports to the Directors
  • Implement and improve processes to streamline and ensure progress claims are up to date and submitted monthly
Requirements
  • Hold a full UK/Irish Driving Licence
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Previous experience within Electrical Engineering; experience in contract value optimisation and negotiating legal and commercial aspects
