Finance and Operations Support Specialist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join AFH Wealth Management, one of the UK's leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient requests within the Finance Operations Team, in line with the Company's service level agreements.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Chase outstanding commission statements from providers of financial products
- Print commission statements from provider websites
- Prepare and produce reports in Excel
- Allocate payments via Xplan/CommPay and raise reports, invoices, and check client details
- Reconcile bank statements
- Load/m investigate missing income/estimates
- Calculate commission/fee payments outstanding together with re-broking
- Use Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, CSV
- Complete paying-in book, banking commission cheques, and ad-hoc spreadsheets
- Liaise with advisors, providers, and other teams as appropriate
About You:
- Office experience, preferably in finance
- Effective organisational and planning skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Delivery focused, with a drive for quality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Will to learn and develop
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently

AFH Wealth Management is a growing community with over 30 years of experience and 200 accredited advisers nationwide. The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
