Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students across various age groups, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. We are looking for a teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.

In addition to teaching, the role involves contributing to the development of the Maths department, participating in staff meetings, and engaging with parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • To plan, deliver, and assess Mathematics lessons to students across various age groups.
  • To contribute to the development of the Maths department, including curriculum design and resource creation.
  • To participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher consultations, and other school events.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback.

We are looking for a teacher who possesses:

  • A strong passion for Mathematics and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Experience of teaching Mathematics to students across various age groups.
  • A proven track record of achieving academic success and making a positive impact on student outcomes.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is MPS/UPS (£28,000 - £41,000) depending on experience, with opportunities for TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) payments for outstanding performance.
