About this Teaching Assistant Role:
ABC Teachers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Redditch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a positive impact on students' lives in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children and young people with special educational needs, including learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs.
Suitable qualifications, such as Youth Work or Health and Social Care, are desirable but not essential.
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check, the ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering tailored support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum
About the Job:
- Full-time position with the possibility of being ongoing for the right candidate.
- Smaller class sizes offering tailored support to help students re-engage with their education and eventually reintegrate into mainstream schooling, if possible.
- A supportive and flexible educational setting that aims to help students overcome personal or behavioural challenges and get back on track with their education.
About You:
- Previous experience working with children and young people with special educational needs.
- Suitable qualifications, such as Youth Work or Health and Social Care, are desirable but not essential.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
