About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Planner to join our team at Sir Robert McAlpine. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for developing and managing individual trade contractor programmes, ensuring seamless integration with our SRM programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and validate trade contractor programmes, ensuring they reflect agreed constraints, method, sequence, and logistics.
  • Integrate validated trade contractor programmes into the fully coordinated SRM programme.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators to measure progress of design, procurement, off-site fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
  • Measure and record progress, analyse results, and prepare progress reports, as-built programmes, and output records.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of building-based MEP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Appreciation of the commissioning process in complex environments.
  • Competent user of PowerProject and Microsoft Excel.
  • Competent in use of 3D models.
  • Good core planning and programming skills.
  • Probably have a mechanical or electrical trade contractor background.
  • A good understanding of the commercial impacts of planning.
  • An understanding of 4D planning environment.
