Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Apprentice to join our team at Bright Horizons Poole Montessori Day Nursery. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the nursery team in creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development through play.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure seamless transitions and share children's progress.
- Engage in interactive play, reading, and other activities aligned to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Manage your own time to complete required coursework and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- English qualification GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging.
- Excellent relationship building skills, including empathy, active listening, and trustworthiness.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
