Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the operational teams within our assembly and storage facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with depot management and stock control functions to ensure the availability of products that meet company standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the assembly and storage facilities, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality products.
- Collaborate with depot management and stock control functions to optimize product availability and meet customer demands.
- Supervise and control pre-assembly processes and activities to ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
- Implement operational processes to improve quality and increase efficiency.
- Manage multi-disciplined teams to achieve production goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve stock management, forecasting, and investment proposals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including PUWER and LOLER.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-moving production or assembly environment.
- Demonstrable experience in managing stock, forecasting demand, and making investment proposals.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplined teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of IT packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience in off-site pre-assembly of formwork and falsework products.
- Experience in deploying and working with formwork and falsework systems on construction sites.
- Steel erection and assembly experience.
- Working knowledge of project management processes and planning and scheduling techniques.
- Recognized health and safety qualification or certification.
