Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to support pupil learning and development at Ifield School. The successful candidate will work with pupils aged 4-19 who have complex communication needs, including ASD.

About the Role

The Speech and Language Therapy team plays a vital part in enhancing pupil outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing speech and language therapy services for pupils from Reception class to year 14.
  2. Upskilling staff to implement effective strategies and approaches aligned with our Total Communication Approach.
  3. Collaborating with families and professionals to enhance communication in various contexts.

Ifield School is an outstanding institution with a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare. Appointment to this position requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.

**Salary Range:** £28,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
