Job Description:

Our client, a specialized freight forwarding company, is seeking a full-time or part-time Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and possess current knowledge of SAGE Line 50 and Boxtop software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Posting purchase invoices, including foreign ones, in SAGE
  • Posting payments from clients in SAGE
  • Utilizing Boxtop software
  • Basic credit control
  • Bank account management, with knowledge of Nat West Bank Line being an advantage
  • Aged Debtor Analysis/reports from SAGE and production/despatch of customer statements
  • Aged Creditor Analysis/reports from SAGE and preparation of Bulk payment lists for month end and secondary payments by SF
  • Remittance advices
  • General office administration tasks, including HR support and monitoring/diarising insurance policy renewals, licenses for vehicles, training records, and similar tasks
