Financial Officer Role

Penderels Trust is seeking a skilled Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounts of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and update customer account information, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with finance reports.
  • Process timesheets, record annual leave, and bank holiday rates.
  • Process invoices for services provided to customers.
  • Input new customer information for payroll services.
  • Identify and resolve queries effectively.
  • Calculate and process funds to be returned to local authorities or other funding bodies, liaising with their finance teams as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a finance or accounting environment.
  • Ability to input and maintain accurate data records.
  • Effective workload management.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Flexibility and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Hold minimum GCSE Grade '4' or equivalent in English and Maths. A qualification in bookkeeping or accounting is desirable.
