Job Title: Project Manager - Exterior Lighting

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager - Exterior Lighting to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating specifications with electrical consultants, M&E consultants, landscape architects, and specifiers, as well as selling to main contractors and electrical contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Field sales position selling a manufactured range of exterior lighting products
  2. 60% of your time will be spent generating specifications with electrical consultants, M&E consultants, landscape architects, and specifiers
  3. The remaining 40% of the time will be spent selling to/main contractors and electrical contractors
  4. Inheriting an area with a modest £250,000 turnover
  5. Tasked with growing the patch to £500,000 in the first year
  6. Typical projects £10,000-£20,000, but up to £50,000
  7. 50% account management, 50% new business

Requirements:

  1. Ideally with electrical specification experience
  2. Exterior lighting knowledge not essential, open to various electrical product backgrounds
  3. Ideally electrical consultant relationships
  4. May consider a senior electrical wholesale field sales background with strong relationships on patch with electrical contractors
  5. Personable, team player, people person, driven, and enthusiastic
