This is a yard-based shunting job with no overnight or long-distance driving required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company on a permanent basis with plenty of overtime available.

Responsibilities:

  • To undertake general local collections and deliveries.
  • To communicate with the office to arrange future pick-ups and deliveries.
  • To assist with loading and offloading of goods.
  • To complete and maintain documentation relating to freight, collections and deliveries.
  • To comply with all relevant driving legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal work environment.
  • To ensure company vehicles are kept clean and in good working order.
  • To work in a safe manner; driving positive behavior and leading by example with regard to the company's health, safety and environmental policies.
  • To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a valid FLT License
  • Driving license entitlement of Class 1
  • Valid digital tachograph and up to date CPC card
