Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team at a further education SEMH provision in Stockton. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support students with complex needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  2. Work closely with teaching staff to plan and deliver tailored learning activities, ensuring student engagement and progress
  3. Contribute to the development of a positive and respectful classroom environment, encouraging peer relationships and social interactions

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have a genuine passion for supporting individuals with SEN / Disabilities. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. Experience working in a similar setting is desirable but not essential.

What We Offer: This role offers a competitive salary of £19,500 - £23,500 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive comprehensive training in Moving and Handling and ongoing support from our experienced team.
