Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst and Model Developer to join our Global Pricing team at Allianz Commercial. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building and implementing predictive models to drive pricing excellence across various business lines.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain complex data driven pricing models using advanced statistical techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of model results
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Design and implement new approaches to portfolio management, leveraging data analytics and machine learning
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, mentoring junior team members to foster a collaborative environment

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning) or related field
  • Strong experience in building predictive models, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Advanced understanding of classical and modern statistical methods, including GLMs, decision trees, and ensemble techniques
  • Hands-on expertise with Python, R, or other statistical software packages
  • Able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Organized, self-motivated, and collaborative, with a passion for lifelong learning
