Job Overview
As a Personal Shopping Consultant at Selfridges, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a unique shopping experience for our high-end clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Nurture and develop relationships with existing and potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Recognize and capitalize on potential events and occasions to further expand our client base.
- Develop and implement plans to drive business growth, sales, and profit across our luxury retail businesses.
- Monitor customer service satisfaction and spend, suggesting improvements to stay ahead of competitors.
- Partner with key stakeholders to promote our products and services at store events and other commercial opportunities.
- Act as an ambassador for Selfridges Personal Shopping, representing our brand in public and store events.
- Follow health and safety and security procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer care, responding to client inquiries, booking, and following up on deliveries and client alterations.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in client rooms, including returning stock, laying out product options, and preparing refreshments.
- Work collaboratively with various departments to deliver exceptional service and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and competitor activity.

- Detail-oriented and well-informed about store events and services that may appeal to high-end clients.
