Software Engineer Opportunity

This is a rare chance for an experienced Software Engineer to join a historic British company at the forefront of Engineering.

The Role

The Software Engineer will collaborate with Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Data Scientists to gather and understand the requirements necessary to design, develop, and maintain a suite of data analysis tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data analysis tools
  • Develop graphical tools using MATLAB, Python, Julia, or similar
  • Experience with developing backend APIs, ideally with .NET Core
  • Good experience of database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL
  • Exposure to modern web technologies such as React would be advantageous

Requirements

  • Computer Science or Aeronautical, Mechanical, Software Engineering degree
  • Background or experience in data science, aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics, or computer simulations
  • Knowledge of developing graphical tools using MATLAB, Python, Julia, or similar
  • Some experience of developing backend APIs, ideally with .NET Core
  • Good experience of database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL
  • Exposure to modern web technologies such as React would be advantageous
