As a Digital Development Software Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative project team that develops innovative systems and solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project portfolio and resource planning to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with the Digital team to design and develop future digital systems, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with the Retailer network on Digital activity, fostering strong relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Own and manage Digital support materials, guides, and videos to enhance customer experience.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Work closely with development teams to test and implement new functionality, ensuring high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct data analysis to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Working towards a BSc Computer Science degree or similar, with a predicted 2:2 classification.
  • Confident user of SQL, Java, and APIs, with a strong interest in coding and programming.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to build relationships, with a keen interest in data, numbers, and new technologies.
